Help is now one press away, on every screen

Help is never more than one press away now. Press Help, the question mark in the header, and the Help panel opens beside the page you are on. On a phone, Help is in your account menu.

Written for the screen you are on

With nothing typed, For this screen shows the help pages written for the page you are looking at. Type anything and the pages appear as you type, with the questions other shops have asked and Isletek answered. Every page is short, with a picture of the screen and every press named as it reads. There are fifty of them, covering every part of Isletek: Home, invoices, Goods in, orders, products, printing, suppliers, Chat, Customers, Workload, Settings and the shop PC. Press Help centre to open them all at isletek.co.uk/help.

Message Isletek without leaving the page

Press Message Isletek and write to us right there. Pick Something's wrong, A question or Other, write it in a line, then tell us more. As you type, the panel shows the help pages that might answer it already. A screenshot of your screen is attached, taken as you pressed Help, and you can mark it up, retake it or remove it. We also get the page you were on and your shop PC's version, so you never have to explain where you were. Never a password. Press Send to Isletek and we usually reply within the hour.

Every conversation in one place

Your conversations keeps everything you sent Isletek and every question you asked in the Community, each marked Answered or Looking into it. Press All to open the full list. When we have answered, the ticket asks Did this sort it? so you can close it with Done, thanks.

Ask the shops, share an idea

Ask the shops opens a question in the Community, where every Isletek shop can answer. You are shown by your initials, never your shop's name. Share an idea posts a suggestion: shops vote, and Isletek answers with a plan. The Community has a new look too, with the answer lifted to the top of every settled question.

Tell us what is missing

Every page follows Isletek from now on: when a screen changes, its help page changes with it, words and pictures. If a page is missing, or a sentence is wrong, reply under this post or press Message Isletek and say which screen. We will write it.
