Goods in
Counting a delivery
In this page
Goods in is where the floor counts what the van brought. You count the boxes; Isletek books the stock into the till.
To count
To count lists the deliveries waiting. Counted today lists what was counted today, whether it was booked, held for the office or kept on this phone.
The count screen
Each line of the invoice is a row, counted in cases, or in single units where the line is sold as units. Lines the supplier sent none of are left off. Your count saves on the phone as you go. Swipe a row left for Problem, Adjust or Barcode; Adjust sets "3 of 4 arrived" without a scanner.
Count by scan
Scan each box. Every scan beeps and buzzes, with a different signal for a good scan, one already counted and a bad one. Scanning more than was invoiced asks first, so a mis-scan is never counted.
Teaching a barcode
A barcode Isletek doesn't know opens a sheet. Pick the line, then say whether it is the product's barcode or the box's. If the product already has a different code, choose Add it — keep both or Replace the old code.
New products and opening stock
A New line is a product the till doesn't have yet. Count it like any other. The count becomes its opening stock when the office adds the product.
Submit
Press Submit when you're done. If a line came up short and something extra came, Isletek asks once: Came instead of a line, It's a real extra, or Not sure — leave for the office.
The endings
Booked into stock: the stock is in the till.
Counted, N lines short: the office finishes this one.
Some lines didn't go in: press Try again; your count is kept.
Saved on this phone: no signal; it sends when there is.
When lines are short, Report a short delivery tells the office in Chat.
Held counts
If the invoice isn't checked yet, your count is held, not lost. It is booked by itself, at the day you counted, once the invoice adds up.
