Devices and the handheld
Settings › Devices shows every machine your shop uses with Isletek on one page: the shop PC, a print station, your printers and the shop's Android handhelds. Managers and the shop admin can open it.
The shop PC
You see whether the shop PC is online, since when, its version and whether an update is waiting. If it is offline, you see when it was last seen. A shop PC that was never set up says so and offers to set it up. A PC Isletek was removed from says Removed, with who approved it and when.
The print station
Label printers are often on a different computer from the till's. That computer runs Isletek too, as a print station, and only prints. Isletek sends your labels to it. If the print station is offline, Isletek says so; it never sends your labels to a printer in another room.
Printers
Your printers are listed with how each one is printed to. For an Epson printer Isletek can ask, you see whether it is ready, and any fault. Managers can check the printers again.
Pairing a handheld
The shop admin adds a handheld, then pairs it with a one-time code. A new Android phone can be set up from its box by scanning a QR code. A handheld holds its own sign-in, never a person's. Staff sign in on it with their badge, a PIN or their till card. Remove a handheld and it stops working at once.
Restart
The shop admin can press Restart for the shop PC or the print station. Isletek restarts on that computer and comes back by itself. If an update has already downloaded, it is put in on the way.
