Suppliers
An agreed discount and what it doesn't cover
In this page
Some suppliers take an agreed discount, such as 20%, off the whole invoice. Isletek checks every invoice from them against it, line by line, and says when the discount is short.
Many of these suppliers still bill some things at full price. Tell Isletek which, so those lines are not counted as short. You set this in the supplier's settings, in Pricing terms, under the discount.
Three ways to leave lines out
Products: press Add product, then scan or type its barcode, or search for it. It stays left out even if its code changes in the till.
Brands: press Add brand and pick one of the brands in your till. This supplier's brands come first.
Departments: press Add department and pick one of your till's departments.
A line is left out of the discount when its product matches any of them. Press the × on a chip to remove it.
On the invoice
Each line left out says why, for example "Excluded from the 20% discount: brand Duracell". The discount Isletek expects on the invoice is worked out without those lines.
