Customer numbers: who each phone number belongs to
In this page
The POS keeps three boxes for each account: Phone, Mobile and Fax. Isletek treats all three as real numbers and keeps one list of which number belongs to which account, so a text is recognised and goes to the right person.
Numbers
Numbers is open to the people who can see Customers. Business › Customers › Numbers lists every number, its account, the person it belongs to (such as "Mrs Cohen" or "Husband") and the POS box it sits in. A landline is kept but never texted. One number may be on several accounts, for example a father's own account and his children's: press Shared to see only those. Each customer's own numbers are on their page (see "A customer's numbers").
Isletek follows the POS every night. Sync now reads the POS and ClickSend straight away and says what changed. Every texting number goes into ClickSend's list Isletek customers with its account numbers, for service texts; a number that replied STOP or unsubscribed is never added. Offers go only to the people who said yes in Studio › Audience, never to this list.
Match these numbers
ClickSend contacts that aren't on any account wait here, with the accounts their name looks like. Press the right account to link the number, Another account… to pick one yourself, or Not a customer. Isletek never links a number by its name alone.
Needs you
A person decides when ClickSend's name doesn't fit the account, or when the POS changed a number someone had confirmed.
Settings
Sync on keeps Isletek following the POS every night and ClickSend every hour. The shop admin can turn on Fill empty POS boxes. A confirmed number then goes into an empty box only, Mobile first, then Phone, then Fax. A box that holds a number is never changed. It needs the shop PC on 0.9.65.
The shop admin can also Import from a spreadsheet once: a CSV with a number, the account number and, if you like, the person's name on each line. Isletek says how many it added and which lines it couldn't read.
