Getting started
Health & safety checks
Checks is the shop's food-safety diary. Isletek builds a schedule of checks from a few answers about your shop, staff do them on the floor, and a manager signs each day. It is the Health & safety checks app in the Marketplace.
Today
Today lists the checks under Due now and Later today. Press Do it on a check. If a temperature is out of range, a card at the top says which unit, how high it went and since when.
Doing a check
A check opens in one window. For a checklist, answer yes or no to each item. A "no" needs a short note, or the day can't be signed. For a readings check, type the temperature for each unit; Isletek says what each reading means for that unit before you send it. A reading over the limit opens a recheck.
Diary
Diary is the record of every day: what was done, by whom, what was late or missed, and the signature. A manager can sign a past day from here too. If a day can't be signed yet, the diary lists what stops it.
Schedule
Schedule (managers) lists every check and when it falls due. Daily checks skip the days the shop is closed; weekly and monthly ones move to the next trading day. Opening and closing checks follow that day's opening hours. A check the law needs can be paused for a reason and a date, never switched off.
Equipment
Equipment lists your fridges, freezers and other units, with their limits and any sensors.
Set up
Set up (shop admin) has seven steps: the shop, what it does, fire and premises, units, cleaning, a review, and done. You can press Save and finish later and come back; Carry on with the setup opens the step you stopped at. The hours come from Settings › General › Opening hours.
