Getting started
The floor and the handheld
In this page
Floor is the work done on the shop floor: deliveries, shop orders, checks, shelves, the counter and claims. The handheld is the shop's phone, lent to shoppers at the door and used by staff behind their badge.
Overview
Overview gathers the floor's cards in one place: deliveries to count, counted today, labels to print, open claims and claims to approve. Each area below it has its own page with its cards and its screens.
Deliveries
Deliveries shows what is waiting to be counted, with the count beside the row in the sidebar. Count one from To count.
Shelves
Shelves shows the labels to print, Fill before opening (what to refill from the back) and, when the shop takes best-before dates, Going out of date.
Signing in on the handheld
Scan your badge, scan your till card or type your PIN. Five wrong tries lock the handheld for a minute. You are signed out after ten minutes without a touch.
Your home on the handheld
Once signed in, your home has a tile for each job:
Chat: what is new for you and your to-dos.
My tasks: your tasks, with overdue and due today.
Orders to pack: shop orders waiting, and the one you are packing.
Find, Assign, Put away, Refill and Count: Inventory's work.
My week: your week so far, and Jobs worth more.
Labels to take down
When an offer has ended and its label is still up, Labels to take down lists each one under the tiles. Take the label off the shelf, then press Removed. Undo puts the last one back.
Power screens
On its dock the handheld shows Charging with the battery filling, and Fully charged when it is full.
No signal
The handheld keeps working when the Wi-Fi drops in the stockroom. Each press while packing is shown at once and sent when the signal comes back.
