Who can use Studio

Studio is where your shop designs what it prints. By their role, the office and up can design labels, managers and up can send them to the tills and printers, and the shop admin sets the shop's look. The floor prints with the designs but doesn't change them.

Switching a person on or off

A manager or an admin can change this for one person. On the Studio app's page in the Marketplace, under Settings, Who can use Studio lists your team, each with a switch, Can design labels. Switch a person on to let them design, or off to stop them; under their name it says whether that is by their role or was set by hand, by whom and when. A manager can switch the floor's and the office's people; only an admin can change a manager's or another admin's.

What a switched-off person sees

Somebody switched off still sees Studio, but every press that would change a design is greyed with "Studio isn't open to you; ask your manager.", and the designer opens for looking only.
