Connected sensors in the fridges, freezers and hot cabinets, so the temperature readings in the Health & Safety checks fill themselves in and nobody walks round with a probe twice a day.

Each unit is paired from Equipment with a token shown once; the sensor posts its readings to Isletek and the Equipment page shows the reading now and the last day as a line. A reading over the limit for longer than the unit's hold time (a defrost or a door held open never counts) opens an excursion with the steps to write down and a recheck 30 minutes later; a sensor that goes quiet raises a task. A typed reading still works for a unit without a sensor.

Part of the Health & Safety checks add-on in the Marketplace.

This is now live. It’s part of the Health & Safety checks add-on, so it needs installing before you can use it.

    To get started:

    • Open the Marketplace and install Health & Safety checks

    • Go to Equipment and pick the unit you want to connect

    • Pair the sensor with the token shown. It only appears once, so copy it straight away. Pairing needs a manager or shop admin.

After that, readings come in on their own and show on the Equipment page. If a reading stays over the limit, Isletek opens an excursion and asks for a recheck. If a sensor goes quiet, it raises a task. Units without a sensor can still have readings typed in as before.
