A product's card

A product's card holds everything Isletek knows about one product: its cost, its price, where it comes from and what has happened to it. It opens from the Products page, an invoice line or a search.

The tabs

Six tabs: Overview, Promotions, Sales & purchases, Files, Activity and Settings.

The price

The card shows the case cost, with the number of units in the case, and the shelf price. Between them, the shelf price is split into what one unit costs you, your profit and the VAT. A supplier's own price comes from their portal, when Isletek can read it.

Department and hechsher

A product sits in one department. It can carry several hechsherim. The main one is the one the till keeps; every one prints on the product's labels.

The picture

The card shows your shop's own picture first, then the catalogue picture. To use your own, add it on the Files tab and press Use as this product's picture.

Suppliers

The card shows each supplier the product comes from and the code each one uses. A second supplier is kept in the till's product notes.

Files

Keep extra pictures, adverts, product information or recipes beside the product, for your shop only. Office staff and above can add, remove and send them to the supplier.

A barcode on two products

If another product carries this barcode, the card shows Duplicate barcode. When the Isletek catalogue knows whose it is, the card says so in one sentence: a manager presses Fix it, or Not now.

Promotions and activity

Promotions shows the offer running now and each past offer. Activity shows what has happened to the product, and who did it.

Where it is

If your shop uses Inventory, the card shows the product's home shelf, any display shelves, what is in the back, and its last moves.

Editing and Update Till

Press Edit, change a detail and press Save. Nothing reaches the till until you save. The till rings the new details only after Update Till.
