Promotions
The Promotions page shows the offers running in your till, the offers you could run, and how past offers sold. Every view can be filtered by department.
Active in POS
The offers your till is running today. An offer counts as active until its end date, on your shop's day.
Opportunities
Products worth putting on offer. A product you bought below its usual cost, with no offer since, is marked Supplier deal.
History
Every past offer and how it sold. An offer that has ended can be started again with Put back.
Creating a promotion
Choose the products, the offer and the dates, then save it. Each product's promotion label is queued for printing. An offer with several products can carry one name for its shelf labels. The tills ring the offer after Update Till.
Batch offers
A batch offer sells one batch, such as one pallet, at an offer price, then goes back to the usual price. Start one from the product's card with Actions › Batch offer. Isletek watches the sales and estimates when the batch will run out. It ends the offer a little before then, 30 minutes by default, so the next batch isn't sold at the offer price. A finished offer says what the estimate was and how many really went. Isletek updates the tills itself when an offer starts and ends.
Ending a promotion
You can end an offer at any time, a batch offer too. A batch offer still planned can be cancelled. When an offer ends, its promotion labels leave the print list. Isletek also makes one task asking for the shelf labels to come down. Press Removed for each label as it comes down.
