Paying a supplier
In this page
You can pay a supplier's invoices from their page in Isletek. Tick the invoices, see the total, and pay. Isletek never holds the money. Managers and up see what is owed; the shop admin pays and records payments.
What is owed
Isletek works out what you owe the supplier: their invoices, less their credit notes. Receipts, invoices already paid, an invoice still being read and one replaced by a newer version are left out. You tick the invoices; Isletek adds up the total.
The supplier's pay page
Many suppliers have a Blink pay page. Isletek finds it on their invoices, or you paste its address into the supplier's settings. Choose Pay on Blink and the page opens in a new tab with the amount and the invoice numbers filled in. Pay there by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
"I've paid"
Blink does not tell Isletek you paid. When you have, press I've paid, and the invoices are marked paid. If you don't press it, nothing is marked. Cancel writes nothing.
A payment made another way
If you paid by bank transfer, card on the phone or cheque, record it. Choose how you paid and the day you paid; a reference is optional. The invoices are marked paid at once.
Reversing
If you recorded a payment by mistake, the shop admin presses Reverse. The payment stays on the record as reversed, and the invoices are owed again. Money paid through Blink is refunded by the supplier, never in Isletek.
One payment per invoice
An invoice can be in only one payment at a time. If a payment is waiting, that invoice can't be ticked again until it ends.
