Shop orders from the handheld
Shop orders are baskets your customers send for you to pack. They come from the shop's handheld, and from your shop's website if you have one. The office reads every order here and hands it over.
Where orders come from
A shopper prices products on the handheld at the shop and sends the basket. A website order wears a Website chip and its collection or delivery slot. Each order has a number, such as S-0001. A new order rings the bell.
Open
Open shows four tiles: To pack, Packing, Packed and Done today. Open an order to see its lines.
Packing
Staff pack on a handheld, signed in with their badge or PIN. The handheld lists the lines in the order the shop is walked. In a shop without the Shop handhelds app, the office packs a new website order with Packed, ready to go.
Handing it over
Once an order is packed, press Mark collected or Mark delivered. Only the office closes an order; staff on the handheld never do.
Cancelling
To cancel an open order, press Cancel order. You can add a reason, such as "The shopper rang to cancel". Keep it goes back. If someone is packing it, their handheld says so within seconds, and the goods go back on the shelf.
Closed
Closed lists orders collected, delivered or cancelled in the last 60 days, newest first.
