Signing in

You sign in to Isletek with your email: with a password, or with your Google or Microsoft account. Signing in never connects your mailbox.

The code by email

You can turn on a code by email on your account page. Isletek then emails you a six-digit code after your password. It lasts ten minutes and works once. If it doesn't arrive, ask for another, up to three in ten minutes.

Two-step sign-in

You can add a second step with an authenticator app on your phone. You then give its code after your password. Keep the recovery codes you are shown once; each works once. If you lose your phone and the codes, another admin of your shop can reset it for you. Signing in with Google or Microsoft skips Isletek's second step.

Your invitation

You join a shop through its invitation email. Press Accept invitation and choose a password. If you already use Isletek at another shop, you use the password you have. An invitation lasts 14 days.

Several shops on one email

One email can belong to several shops. When you sign in, Isletek asks which shop to open. Once you are in, you can switch to your other shops without signing in again, as long as your sign-in proved them.

One account per browser

Each browser is signed in as one person. Signing in as someone else signs the current person out of this browser. Your account page lists every browser and phone you are signed in on, and you can sign any of the others out from there.

The shop in the address

The address in your browser names the shop you are in. A link you copy opens that shop's page. If the link names another of your shops, Isletek asks before it switches.

Signing in from the shop PC

When you install Isletek on the shop PC, it opens the browser for you to approve it. Sign in there as the shop's admin and approve. A PC with no browser signed in can use a pairing code instead.
