Your team and their roles

Settings › Team lists everyone who works in your shop on Isletek and the role each one has. The shop admin invites people, changes their role and removes them.

The four roles

Each role can do everything the role before it can, and more.

• Floor: the shop floor: goods in, counts, labels, filling shelves and their own work.

• Office: adds the paperwork: invoices, suppliers, orders, pricing and promotions.

• Manager: adds approvals, product tidying, non-stock rules, price-list baselines and Update Till.

• Admin: adds the shop's money and its set-up: financials, the team, QuickBooks, the shop's profile and the shop's website.

Inviting someone

Add the person with their first name, last name, email and phone, and choose their role. Isletek emails them an invitation, which lasts 14 days. If they haven't accepted it, press Send the invitation again. Someone who already uses Isletek at another shop can join with the password they have.

Changing a role

Change a person's role in Settings › Team. What they can see and do changes at once, including which Chat topics they are in.

Removing someone

Remove a person who has left. They are signed out on every device straight away. Everything they did stays on the record under their name. You can't remove your own account. Removing a person still works when your shop is read-only, so a leaver can always be locked out.

Two-step sign-in

If someone loses their phone and recovery codes, another admin can reset their two-step sign-in from here. Nobody can reset their own.
