Scheduled prices and price match
In this page
A scheduled price changes a product's shelf price on a day you choose. A price match sells a product at a competitor's price, with a small badge on its label. Office staff and above set both. You see them under Products › Scheduled prices and Products › Price matched.
A price that changes on a date
Open the product's card and choose Actions › Schedule a price change. Give the new price and the day. On the morning of that day, Isletek writes the price into the till, updates the tills itself and queues a new shelf label. The price and the label change together.
If the shop PC is off
A scheduled price waits until the shop PC is back, then goes through. If the till refuses it five times, the price is marked as failed, and the list says why.
Cancelling a scheduled price
Press Cancel on a waiting price in Scheduled prices. A cancelled price stays in the list, marked as cancelled.
Setting a price match
Open the product's card and choose Actions › Price match. Give the other shop, their price and, if you like, a last day. Isletek reads the till's price at that moment and keeps it. The product's label is queued again with the Price match badge. The badge never shows the competitor's name.
The badge comes off by itself
A price match ends by itself when its last day has passed, or when the till rings a different price. Isletek checks every hour, and again each time a label is printed. The label is then queued again without the badge.
Ending a price match
Press Remove in Price matched, or Remove the match on the card, at any time. Setting a new match for the same product ends the old one.
