The Products page

The Products page holds every product the till knows. You can look at a product and change it, and keep your products tidy. Each view is a row under Products in the sidebar, and each does one job. The view you are on shows in the address, so you can share a link to it.

Search

Type a name, a code or a barcode in the search box. A barcode finds the product that rings it at the till. Open a product to see its card.

All products

Every product in the till. Use it to find a product, check a price or open its card.

Linked products

The products you connected to a supplier's code with Connect to a product, on an invoice line or the order page. A link is how Isletek knows which of your products a supplier's line means. If you unlink one, that supplier's lines show as not in the till until you connect it again.

Price locks

A price lock is the price a supplier agreed to charge you for a product. When an invoice comes in above it, Isletek starts a draft price dispute for you. Use this view to see and set the locks.

Fix booked stock

The products whose till stock reads below zero: they sold more than was ever booked in. Count what is on the shelf, type it in and press Apply. The till's stock is set to your count from today.

Review

A list of products that can't be trusted as they stand: one barcode on two products, one code on two products, a barcode stuck on an old price, a till name that disagrees with the office name. Nothing is changed until you choose. See Review: duplicates and merges.

Update Till

A change you make here reaches the tills only after Update Till. Until then, the till rings the old details. Update Till needs a manager.
