Studio
Your audience and consent
In this page
Studio › Audience lists the people who said yes to your offers, by email, by text or both. Only people who said yes themselves are in your audience; a till account customer is never in it just for having an account.
The list
The line at the top counts them, for example "112 people said yes to emails". The chips All, Email and Texts show one channel at a time. Each row shows the person's name, email and phone, where they stand (Signed up, Waiting for them to confirm, Unsubscribed from emails) and how they joined.
How people join
They scan the sign-up sheet at the till, give their name and email, and press the button in the email they get.
At the till, staff open Offers sign-up on the handheld and turn it to them; they type their email and press Yes, send me offers. The handheld never keeps it.
They sign the printed form, and a manager records it.
Print the sign-up sheet gives an A4 page for the till with your shop's name, a code to scan and your consent words.
Recording a signed form
Press Record consent, or New › Customer who said yes. Fill in their name, email and phone, tick what they said yes to, and Save. The window shows which version of the consent words the form carried.
Withdrawing, consent words, download and erase
Press a person to see the proof of their consent in words, such as "confirmed by email on 3 Nov". A manager can Withdraw them from emails or from texts; they are never sent those again unless they sign up again. The shop admin sets the words people say yes to under Consent words; saving makes a new version, and each person keeps the version they saw. The shop admin can Download their data or Erase a person; after erasing, their address is kept only so they are never sent offers again.
