Invoices
When an invoice won't parse
Isletek reads every invoice before it asks you anything about it. While it reads, or while something doesn't add up, the invoice says Processing and asks nothing. Most of these settle by themselves.
Reading
A new invoice is read first. The page says Checking this invoice. There is nothing to do; Isletek tells you on the page if it needs you. The invoice is never hidden, so don't upload it again.
Held
Isletek holds an invoice when its lines don't add up to its total, when a second reading disagrees, or when the header is impossible. A date more than a week ahead, or a number that is really a label, is a header fault. So is a line with no description and no code. Isletek reads held invoices again whenever its reader improves. If one stays held too long, it is handed to the office, and the invoice names what it couldn't read.
Ready
A ready invoice has been read and adds up. Its lines show their statuses and it can book stock.
The second reading
A supplier's first invoices get a second reading. When the two readings disagree about money or a line, a box names the problem, such as "Line 25 needs a look before this invoice can be booked". Compare with the PDF, then press Keep Isletek's reading… or Correct line N. When the totals don't add up, Accept these totals… asks for a reason. These presses are for the office and above.
A photo that can't be read
On Photograph paperwork, a photo Isletek can't read says This scan is hard to read. Lay the invoice flat in good light and take the photo again.
Reading it again
Recheck invoice, the refresh button on the invoice's toolbar, compares the lines with the till again. To read several older invoices again, use Select on Processing, then Reparse N. Your price, promotion and not-stock marks are kept where the line is unchanged. A finished invoice is never offered for a reparse; Recheck invoice on it keeps your work.
